Frequently asked questions
How Slibur works, what we measure, how billing works and how to manage your account.
Product
How does Slibur work?
You sign up and add your website. From there we suggest competitors and the questions (prompts) your customers tend to ask. You review the list, remove or add whatever you like, and confirm.
From then on Slibur sends those prompts to the AI platforms (ChatGPT and Google AI every day; Claude, Perplexity and Grok every week), stores each answer and analyses it: whether you appear, in what position, with what tone, next to whom and with which sources. You see all of it in your dashboard.
What is a GEO tool?
A GEO (generative engine optimization) tool shows how AI assistants answer the questions your customers ask: whether they mention your brand, in what position, with what tone, which competitors they recommend instead and which sources they cite.
Slibur is a GEO tool: it asks ChatGPT and Google AI every day and Claude, Perplexity and Grok every week, stores every answer and turns it into visibility, position, sentiment, competitor and source data, plus weekly improvements to make.
Is Slibur an AEO tool?
Yes. AEO (answer engine optimization) and GEO are two names for the same goal: being the brand that AI assistants name and cite. Slibur measures exactly that across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity and Grok, and runs a free 18-point audit of how ready your site is for AI answers.
Why should I track my visibility in AI?
More and more people ask an AI assistant before they compare options or buy. If the answer recommends three companies and yours is not one of them, nobody tells you: there is no public ranking and no console that shows it.
Measuring it tells you where you stand, shows what the brands ahead of you do well and lets you check whether the changes you make actually work.
What is a prompt?
A prompt is a question we ask the AI platforms on your behalf, such as "best accounting software for freelancers" or "where to buy sourdough in Madrid". Each prompt is asked on every platform: every day on ChatGPT and Google AI, every week on Claude, Perplexity and Grok.
Your plan sets how many prompts you can track at once. You can change them whenever you like.
What is a mention? How are direct and indirect mentions different?
A direct mention is when the AI writes your brand name in its answer. An indirect mention is when the AI uses a page from your website as a source, and links to it, without naming you in the text.
We count them separately because they mean different things: a direct mention shows the AI knows your brand, an indirect one shows it trusts your content even if it does not recommend you by name yet.
What are cited URLs?
They are the links the AI shows as sources for its answer. Slibur stores every cited URL, its domain, how often it appears and whether it belongs to you, a competitor or a third party such as a news site, a directory or a forum.
That tells you which pages carry weight in your market and where it pays to be present.
Which AI platforms does Slibur track?
ChatGPT (we read the answer a person sees on chatgpt.com), Claude, Google AI (the AI Overviews shown in Google results, with Gemini as a backup), Perplexity and Grok.
ChatGPT and Google AI are tracked every day; Claude, Perplexity and Grok, every week. In the few markets where chatgpt.com cannot be read, we ask ChatGPT through its API once a week. Your workspace settings show how often each AI is tracked in yours.
How often is the data updated?
It depends on the AI. ChatGPT and Google AI are asked every day; Claude, Perplexity and Grok, once a week. Each AI searches the web just like it does for a real user. “Run now” measures your new prompts right away, along with anything still missing this week on Claude, Perplexity and Grok.
AI answers change from one day to the next. That is why we ask ChatGPT and Google AI every day, and why the trend over several days matters more than any single answer.
Do you send me a summary by email?
Yes. Once a week we email the workspace owners and admins a summary: your visibility, average position and answers analysed compared with the previous week, how you stand against your competitors, whether AI cites your website, the tone of the answers and the most important improvement of the week.
When a change is beyond the normal variation of the answers, the email starts with an alert: your visibility drops or rises, or a competitor overtakes you. It only fires when the change passes a test within your prompts and is 5 points or more; the rules are on the methodology page. If an AI speaks badly of your brand in an answer where it did not before, the email tells you too.
You choose it in Workspace settings: the summary with alerts, alerts only or nothing. Each person can also turn it on or off just for themselves, including from the unsubscribe link in the email.
Can Slibur help me get more visibility and traffic from AI?
That is the goal. Every week you get personalised improvements based on your data, in your dashboard and by email: which pages to publish or improve, which outside sources to get listed on and what your competitors are doing better. The 18-point audit also tells you what to fix on your site so AI can read it properly.
Nobody can guarantee a position in AI answers, but with Slibur you will know what to do and be able to measure whether it works.
Plans and billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes, on Starter, Growth and Scale. You get 7 days free, with no card, up to 10 prompts and the audit of your site included. The Agency plan is paid from day one.
On the day you sign up we ask all 5 AI platforms. After that, ChatGPT and Google AI are asked again every day while you keep visiting your dashboard; Claude, Perplexity and Grok, only that first time. The trial includes one “Run now”.
When it ends you choose a plan to keep going. If you do not, tracking stops and you are not charged anything.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, there is no minimum term. Go to Workspace settings, open Billing and choose «Cancel at the end of the period». You keep access until then.
You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
How do I get my invoices?
An invoice is issued automatically with every payment and emailed to you. You can also download them at any time under Workspace settings, Billing.
Prices are in US dollars and taxes may apply depending on your country. If you pay yearly, you save 15% compared with paying monthly.
Account and team
Can I invite my team?
Yes, on paid plans. During the free trial the workspace is just for you.
The subscription and its limits (prompts and members) belong to each workspace. If you look after several brands or clients, you can have one workspace for each, each with its own plan and team.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account and choose Delete account. Your personal data and your access are removed.
Workspaces where you are the only member are deleted with you. If other people belong to a workspace, it stays for them. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first from Workspace settings.
What do you do with my data?
We only use it to provide the service. It is hosted in the European Union, we do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.
The prompts we send to AI platforms are the ones you set up in your workspace and never include personal data. Payments are handled by Stripe: we never see or store your card number.
